Description
WorldCat is a catalog of millions of books, serials, audiovisual media, maps, archives, manuscripts, scores, computer files, and web sites owned by OCLC member libraries around the world, including UW-Madison and the Library of Congress. More than 400 languages are represented. One of its many uses is the ability to make online interlibrary loan requests for books. There are two versions currently available. The FirstSearch interface has advanced search options, and lists results by number of copies available. It also may display more note information than the other interface. The WorldCat.org interface (http://digital.library.wisc.edu/1711.web/worldcat) lists results in relevancy order. (Updated daily)
