ALIM: Archivio della LatinitĂ  Italiana del Medioevo

ALIM is an ongoing project, sponsored by the Italian Unione Accademica Nazionale and by six Italian universities, to present scholarly electronic texts of all Latin-language works written in Italy during the Middle Ages. To date (June 2006), it offers a much smaller range of material written in the 11th, 12th, and 13th centuries. The texts available thus far are primarily literary, with a good admixture of chronicles and with some philosophic and other writing as well. There are indexes by author's name, by century, and by literary genre. The operating language of this database is Italian.
