Unpublished, a series of accidents led to the destruction of the sheets and the book was never completed or published. A few sets of sheets were rescued by G.F. Sims who had them bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe in Curwen Press colored wrappers.
"The text of this edition follows exactly that printed by William Caxton in 1485, as given in the edition of H. Oskar Sommer (London, 1889). Caxton's misprints have not been corrected."
