Before the 2nd World War, over half of Thailand contained the lushest of the world's forests. Today, only 20 % of these remains. The forests are being destroyed at the rate of about half a football field every second. Many animals, including elephants, are in danger of becoming extinct. This is a story about the relationship between human and the elephants in the north of Thailand and the effort of a small group of people to try to save the forest and the elephants.
