Kusum and Brindaban were married when they were children. Their families had a conflict, though, and the two were separated. When Brindaban comes back to the village, Kusum remembers their marriage but he doesn't. He has remarried, but his wife has died. He agrees to marry Kusum again, but circumstances get in the way.
