Through the menu program and Mapper display program on CD-ROM disc, users are introduced to results of a detailed geological study of sea floor in western Massachusetts Bay, which were used to evaluate area around proposed outfall for Boston's treated sewage effluent. Data include bathymetry, sidescan-sonar images, color photographs, textual information, and an interpretive geologic map.
