Sometime between September 21 and November 9, 1621, the English colonists, whom we call Pilgrims, and the Wampanoag people shared a harvest celebration. Through time, stories and popular myths have evolved around this event, which has come to be known as the first Thanksgiving. This is the story of what may have happened during those days as seen through the eyes of a 14-year-old named Dancing Moccasins and a six-year-old named Resolved White.
