The facsimile volumes (v. 1-2) comprise stitched quires loose in 6 numbered folders, in 2 solander boxes. In each box is a booklet containing t.p., publication and copyright data, and acknowledgements for that part. The translation volumes (v. 3-4) comprise 34 fascicles, each containing the translation of a single county complete, plus an introductory booklet in v. 3 and an acknowledgment booklet in v. 4.
The facsimile is a full-color facsimile made by continuous-tone offset lithography from the disbound original. The translation is taken from the Victoria history of the counties of England.
