This image appears to be a copy of an 1864 carte de visite portrait probably reissued by the photographer at the time of the author's death. Letter to Rev. Mr. Bellows responding to a letter he wrote to "The Evening Post" defending the theater. Three lines copied from Julia Ward Howe's "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" signed by Fanny Fern,dated New York Jan 27, 1864. Short biographical clipping, including a sketch of Fanny Fern in later life.
