Reproduces the unbound records relating to interrogations conducted by the Dept. of State Special Interrogation Mission to Germany, 1945-46, also known as the DeWitt C. Poole Mission. The mission interrogated German officials of the Third Reich from August to November, 1945, regarding German foreign relations, propaganda, the Nazi Party, and other subjects for the period 1939-45. Among the persons interrogated were members of the German Foreign Office, military leaders, and such prominent personalities as Hermann Goering, Joachim von Ribbentrop and Hjalmar Schacht.
