In 1938 the Geneva research centre initiated a study of international trade regulations and commercial policy, and the National institute of economic and social research undertook the British section of this work. By 1939 the descriptive material had been largely assembled. It was revised and arranged by J. M. Sebag-Montefiore and is now published as a technical descriptive study.-- cf. Pref.
