Title from portfolio cover.
Plates show the uniforms of the Mexican army, decorations, emblems, helmets, military ranks, etc. They reflect the profound influence that Germany was having on Mexico at the time, as the uniforms illustrate the change from French to German design, as was the adoption of the characteristic design of the Pickelhaube case. The many full-color illustrations cover all military classes, from the uniforms of the navy, cavalry, infantry, and President Porfirio Díaz's personal guard.
In portfolio with title and eagle in gold on front cover.
