Records consist primarily of school district clerk record books 1877-1931, all volumes of which contain meeting minutes, teachers' contracts, records on orders of treasurer, annual reports, school censuses, district treasurers' bonds and oaths, and registers of orders drawn. Some volumes also include rosters of school officials, textbook lists, district boundaries, summaries of receipts and expenditures, tax levy reports, and statements of taxes voted. Records include one Treasurer's Book, 1907-1924, and Yearly Records of High School Students, 1917-1922, containing grade reports for individual students. School District No. 1, Town of Brooklyn, was incorporated into Joint School District No. 1, Town of Brooklyn and Village of Green Lake, circa 1905.
