Index to civil and criminal cases noting names of the plaintiff and defendant, date, action, volume and page recorded, and case file number. Volume 1 dates circa 1848-1887; Volume 2, 1888-1931; Volume 3, 1932-1971; and Volume 4, 1942-1979. The 9 card boxes contain index cards prepared by the Manitowoc County Genealogical Society from the actual case file documents. Cards are arranged alphabetically by plaintiff and defendant surnames, and usually contain notes about the cases.
