Photographs found in the offices of the microfilm laboratory of the department. The purpose for the majority of the images was probably for inclusion in departmental publications. Included are portraits of Department of Administration executives and photographs of departmental staff (particularly employees of the Bureau of Personnnel and the Microfilm Lab) at work, attending professional meetings, and engaged in other activities. Similar photographs document the Department of Health and Social Services, particularly its Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Health units.

Also included are portraits of state legislators (including Tommy G. Thompson, Gordon Roseleip, and Martin Schreiber) and other elected state officers (including Nathan Heffernan, Charles Smith, and Horace Wilkie), members of the Board of Regents of State Colleges, and miscellaneous state-owned facilities, including images of the Capitol.
