A catalogue of the collection of Greek, Roman, and other medals and coins, in gold, silver and brass, of Edmund Hammond, of Whitton-Hall, in Suffolk, Esq; deceased. Likewise his curious antique gems; consisting of comeos, intaglios, set and unset, several pastes and impressions, miniature pictures, a gold repeating watch elegantly chased, and a cabinet for medals; his collection of books, and other curiosities. Which will be sold by auction, by Mr. Prestage, at his great room the end of Saville-Row, next Conduit-street, Hanover-square, on Thursday next, the 24th of January 1760.The said collection may be viewed on Tuesday the 22d.
