After a distinguished career at UW-La Crosse, Dr. Dale L. Montgomery retired on June 30, 1999. In his final three years, Dr. Montgomery served as Interim Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic Services (1998-99) and Interim Associate Vice Chancellor for Information Technology Services (1996- 1998). Dr. Montgomery joined the university in 1977 as Director of the Library and Media Services, a position he held for twenty years until June 1996. --The Fine Print.
