The letter was reprinted as a separate pamphlet (New York, 1797) under title: Letter from the secretary of state to Charles C. Pinckney, esq., in answer to the complaints of the French minister ... Another edition has imprint, Richmond: Printed and sold by T. Nicholson [1797].
