Transcripts of an oral history interview conducted on 26 Nov. and 6 Dec. 2001 by Thomas H. Garver and the third interview conducted on 29 March 2002 with snyder, John Holzaepfel and Steve Nelson-Raney. In the interviews snyder discusses his childhood in Ohio, training at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, his life in the Army, early teaching career at H. Sophie Newcomb Memorial College, teaching at UW and Milton College, dissertation on John Cage, career as a pianist, Music Director at Unitarian Meeting House from 1971-2000, and his work as a painter and visual artist.
