Till its premiere in Saint-Petersbourg in 1892, The Nutcracker is one of the most successful classical ballet and Tchaikovsky's score has become one of his most famous compositions. The most talented soloists of the Bolshoi Ballet appear in this production as Nina Kaptsova (Marie) and Artem Ovcharenko (the Nutcracker Prince) or Denis Savin (Drosselmeyer).
