An interview with former University of Cambridge professor Aleksander Kogan, who developed a Facebook app that harvested personal data from tens millions of users without their knowledge. He is accused of selling this data to Cambridge Analytica, a political consulting firm that has been hired by campaigns to create targeted ads for voters. During the 2016 presidential election, Cambridge Analytica was first hired by the Ted Cruz campaign, then later for Donald Trump. Facebook's failure to protect users' data is at the center of Congressional hearings. Includes interviews with: Sandy Parakilas, former Facebook data protection manager.
