Dr Corinna E. Loeckenhoff presents the results of an international study into gender stereotypes. Using the five-factor model of personality, her team found that women were rated higher in neuroticism, openness, agreeableness and conscientiousness. Men were rated higher in extraversion. These stereotypes were, on average, an accurate reflection of real personality.
