Discusses specifics of the current Federal terrorism insurance program established by P.L. 107-297, the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act (TRIA) of 2002, to ensure availability of property and casualty insurance against losses from terrorism. Reviews H.R. 508, the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act of 2002 Reauthorization Act of 2013, to extend TRIA until 2019; H.R. 1945, the Fostering Resilience to Terrorism Act of 2013, to extend TRIA until 2024; H.R. 2146, the Terrorism Risk Insurance Program Reauthorization Act of 2013, to extend TRIA until 2024;. and S. 2244, the Terrorism Risk Insurance Program Reauthorization Act of 2014, to extend TRIA until 2021.
