The American Institute of the History of Pharmacy is a not-for-profit historical society housed at the UW-Madison School of Pharmacy. Founded in 1941, the Institute fosters a variety of historical collections in cooperation with the UW-Madison and the Wisconsin Historical Society. At Rennebohm Hall on the UW-Madison campus, the Institute administers the Kremer Reference Files (KRF), a group of collections that includes the Pharmaceutical Trade Catalog Collection. The main body of the KRF is composed of 700 file drawers of manuscripts, offprints, photographs, and ephemera documenting pharmacy in the USA from 1890 to the present. For more extensive information on this collection, view the website of the AIHP (https://aihp.org/) and click on the AIHP Collections Tab.
