520    $a"The broad goal of this edited collection is to improve educational practices in pluralistic contexts, such as Canadian schools, by substantively engaging African proverbs, Indigenous folktales, and cultural stories in curricular and pedagogical decisions. Each contributor works with a different proverb, folktale, or cultural story as a core text for the unit they've designed. Along with detailed notes for the instructor and one to two sample lesson plans, each contributor writes a reflection on the process of designing the unit with an anti-racism orientation. This book is aimed at courses focusing on diversity and inclusion and curriculum design within education programs."--$cProvided by publisher.
