For the 2015 edition, the charismatic Sir Simon Rattle took the helm of the legendary ensemble, joined by virtuoso violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter! These exceptional artists put together a program that gives pride of place to beloved French repertoire of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, featuring Saint-Saëns's irresistible Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, Ravel's Tzigane, and Poulenc's suite for the ballet Les Biches-as well as works by Chabrier and Massenet, all finished off with a devilish encore...
