A collection of the bilingual inscriptions, including monetary inscriptions, of the Roman West from the 3rd c. BC to the 2nd c. AD. Each inscription appears both in Latin and in a local language; given the different characteristics of the Latinization in each linguistic community, these inscriptions are of a very heterogeneous character. An introduction addresses the historical issues arising from the study of these texts, and the inscriptions are presented along with commentary and illustrations.
