Eva Gunderson was a Wisconsin native who lived from 1909-1986. The second wife of Elven Oscar Gunderson, Eva made her living by working on Rusk County farms. This pamphlet chronicles Eva's experiences through the Spanish Flu pandemic, the Great Depression, and the Second World War.
"The physical journeys of Eva span over 30 years. Despite the miles of hardship in these times of the Great Depression and Second World War, Eva with an inner faith and determination, met what life had brought her way. But more than simply bearing up, she sought her own path, one that allowed her to fulfill herself." -introduction.
