This dataset is a guide to the most important features of clustered bar charts, which graphically represent more than one data series of two qualitative features through horizontal bars. The main purpose of this guide is to offer you how to display a clustered bar chart using SPSS statistics. To do that, in the following sections, the definition of this type of chart will be explained, as well as the theoretical aspects that the user must know for its construction and its interpretation. It will be explained to the user which type of variables can be represented on it and how to display a clustered bar chart step by step, using specialized statistical software. To achieve these objectives, information from Contraceptive Method Choice Dataset in the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software was analyzed. The advantages and limitations of the clustered bar chart and some of the main variants will be shown. Finally, at the end of this guide, we will propose a series of questions that the readers can try to solve on their own to strengthen the knowledge generated and learn when to apply this chart to their work. This dataset file is accompanied by a Student Guide and a How-to Guide for SPSS.
