A documentary about the power of inspiration as seen through a music teacher, Ms. Abe, and her award-winning junior high school brass band, who live around the coast of Fukushima, Japan - an area that was strongly affected by the disasters of 2011. Haramachi Daiichi Junior High School was forced to evacuate the city. One month after the accident, Ms. Abe and the students re-started practicing for the annual National Junior High Brass Brand Competition in Japan. The band had only 6 months to prepare, but they didn't give up. They won the Japanese national competition in October 2011. Many people were encouraged by their performance and the power of music. 7 years after the disaster, Ms. Abe encountered another big challenge. She was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. However, she never gives up music and life and keeps moving forward with hope. (This film also shows Ms. Abe's last concert as a teacher with the students).
