Michael Palin drew on his own boyhood memories for this award-winning coming-of-age comedy. Bored teenager Richard is a reluctant holiday-maker staying at the Tregarron guest house in Easton but things soon start to look up when he is befriended by the confident and gregarious Edwin. Giving their parents the slip, they embark on an adventure to meet girls.
