The Teaching Challenge is the series where celebrities find out just how tough it is to be a teacher. Rick Stein leaves his home in Padstow to face a class of teenage school boys. The celebrated TV chef and seafood guru tries to enthuse the pupils of Tretherras School in Newquay with another of his passions, the poetry of Seamus Heaney. He hopes to win the class over with a spirited reading and some class discussion, but the pupils really become inspired when he asks them to write about someone they care about.
