A letter and declaration of the Lords, knights, gentlemen and ministers, of the county of York, and of the Lord Mayor, aldermen and Common-Councell of the city of York,
presented to Generall Monck, Feb. 17th 1659. at his quarters at Drapers Hall London, by Sir Thomas Wharton Knight, brother to the Lord Wharton, John Dawney, Thomas Harrison, and John Legard Esquiers. As also a letter, with the said declaration inclosed delivered, by the said gentlemen to the Lord Mayor directed to him, and to the Common-Councell of the Citty of London.
