Description: Brass cap badge with tower from the coat of arms of Hackney over a star with a laurel leaf. The motto is 'Justitia turris nostra' meaning 'Justice is our fortress'. The scroll underneath says 'Tenth London Hackney'. The final two images show the 1912 cap badge of the Paddington Rifles which was reconstituted during the war as the 10th (County of London) Battalion (Hackney).
