This data collection supplies standard monthly labor force data for the week prior to the survey. Comprehensive information is given on the employment status, occupation, and industry of persons 14 years old and older. Additional data are available concerning weeks worked and hours per week worked, reason not working full-time, total income and income components, and residence. For this supplement, a battery of questions was asked of women 15-59 years old to obtain information on their childbearing history. Data include the total number of children born, date of birth of the first and most recent child(ren), and date of first marriage. Women 18-44 years old were also asked about the number of additional children they expected to have. Information on demographic characteristics, such as age, sex, race, martial status, veteran status, household relationship, educational background, and Hispanic origin, is available for each person in the household enumerated.Cf: http://doi.org/10.3886/ICPSR08321.v1
