The black and white footage, presumably shot by Wallace Kirkland, begins as the five boys and three men on the trip exit a train from Chicago and get onto a motor boat to their cabin in the wilderness. From there, they fish and then canoe and camp through the rivers of the region. Humorous handwritten intertitles throughout the reel describe their trip.
