She writes about her engagement (January 1, 1900), her wedding (November 25, 1900), the birth of her son Franklin (October 30, 1902), their house being on fire (February 22, 1904), barn burning (February 23, 1904). The family lives in Francestown, New Hampshire prior to moving back to Massachusetts. Diary ends on December 31, 1904.
