- Manuscript journal of scientific observations and erudite theories, mainly of botanical and medical interest, as well as personal reflections and autobiographical notes, most likely made by Fulcrand Nicolas Pouzin, a respected botanist, physician, and professor of Botany and Natural History of Medicine, who also served as apothecary at the Faculty of Medicine in Montpellier.
- 956 pages in fine cursive hand, in French, with extra blank numbered pages and a table of contents at end of the volume. Includes two fold-out hand-drawn illustrations, and a colored illustrated title page.
