- Includes a handwritten letter from Moses M. Strong to the supervisors of the Town of Stevens Point protesting plans to construct a second road from the town plat to the Plover Bridge. Strong pointed out that he owned about 200 acres of land in Section 32, Town 24, Range 8 East where the town was laid out, and he did not think that a second road was necessary. Dated May 3, 1851.
