The objective of the data reduction and analysis program for the SSCC experiment is to develop techniques which may be utilized by NASA, GSFC, to enhance experiment performance. Techniques under study include (a) determination of spacecraft attitude (b) generation of spatial and intensity normalized digital tapes and (c) enhancement of photographic results. This report is the product of results obtained from September through November of 1967. The spacecraft attitude program using an exact spherical model has been completed. The normalization effort has provided an intensity reflection function; all programming of data reduction has been completed. The photographic enhancement effort has largely concentrated on Nimous HRIR pseudo color; some progress has been made on contrast black and white pictures.
