This collection reflects Arthur Hove's work as an author, involvemnt with the art department at UW-Madison, and work with various Chancellors and the Provost office.

The Warrington Colescott collection contains photos, negatives, correspondence, drafts, exhibition invitations and announcements related to the work of Warrington Colescott. Photos and negatives contani family and faculty images. The collection also includes several drafts of materials written by Colescott such as sections from Progressive Printmakers, his memoir "Post-War Prints: A Memoir from a Player", and interviews likely used in his work with Arthur Hove. Correspondence included in this collection pertains to various art shows, press, art critiques, and other discussions. The correspondence also inlcudes greeting cards with original prints created by Colescott and his wife. There are also two photocopied reproductions of his artworks Dillinger: The Battle at Little Bohemia and Judgement Day at NEA. An additional folder included in this collection is related to the life and work of his younger brother, Robert Colescott (1925-2009), who identified as an African American and worked as a painter.
