Typed reminiscence by Allan R. Isensee describing his life growing up on a farm outside of Sparta (Wis.) during the 1940s and 1950s. Entitled "My Story," it describes his schooling, the layout of the farm, and its production of hay, strawberries, and chickens. Also included are news clippings concerning his death on February 2, 2001 as well as the personal and household ledger of his mother, Genevieve Peterson Isensee, consisting of a record of household expenses and recipes. The ledger was annotated at a later date with a small number of family birth records.
