Interior views show a mess hall shanty, a bunkhouse, and a blacksmith shop. Exterior views are of the Rice Lake Lumber Company, Empire Lumber Company, and the Slim Lake logging camp. Other exterior images show cutting pine trees, logs on a sled, a "tank" sleigh using to apply water to ice logging roads, and logging barges, including the barge "Isaac Staples" carrying bundles of laths.
