Homemade album containing photographs and a long poem in the style of "Hiawatha" about friends visiting in Madison, Wis., ca. 1911. The cover title is "Wa-Che-Etch-A" and references are included to the visitors from Freeport named Hughes, to the Madison family apparently named Wherry, and to their home located near Lake Monona. Included are photographs of the Capitol, the Northwest Depot, and people enjoying outings on the lake. The poem describes sightseeing, singing and telling stories, and playing tricks on each other.
