A history, 1937, of the Children's Service Association, a private social service organization concerned with the prevention of juvenile delinquncy; and minutes of its predecessors, the Girls' Club (1923-1926) which operated a residence for young women who earned a minimum wage, and the Juvenile Protective Association (1926-1934) which operated the home for under privileged or delinquent girls. The 1918 minutes are those of War Camp Community Service. The Children's Service Association merged with the Madison Family Welfare Association to become the Family Welfare and Children's Service Association in 1935.
