Record of proceedings in probate cases. For each case, the following information is recorded: court term in which the case was heard, motions made and by whom, name of witnesses, actions taken by the court, and papers filed. Many cases have several entries throughout a volume as the probate process was often protracted. Volume 1 also deals with numerous civil and criminal cases within the county court's jurisdiction.
