Summary

  • Fragmentary records of a group organized to promote the welfare of women who had served overseas during World War I, including correspondence, minutes, and reports of the Madison Unit, and materials from the national organization and the regional Sixth Corps Area. These papers were collected by Maude Webster Middleton primarily during her terms as president (1926-1928) and secretary (1942) of the Madison Unit and as service chairman (1928) of the Sixth Corps Area.
