Studies of the cultural-ethnic backgrounds of population in Wisconsin based upon the Wisconsin State Census of 1905 and divided into eleven separately indexed volumes comprising various tables compiled from the census. The studies were directed by George Hill of the University of Wisconsin Dept. of Rural Sociology and conducted by the Agricultural Economics--Agricultural Experiment Station in cooperation with the federal Work Projects Administration (WPA Projects 7512, 8419, and 10067).
