Papers of a prominent radio news commentator and investment banker who also had careers as a high school teacher, professor of economics, director of research and education for the CIO, and government advisor; including articles and clippings, correspondence, speeches, manuscripts, books and pamphlets, brochures and programs, notes, chronologies, photographs, tape recordings, and a completed biography of Walsh. The collection includes materials generated by Walsh's friend and biographer, Arthur L. Luebke, and Richard R. Marsh, who completed the biography after Luebke's death. A subject index to the contents of the tape recorded interviews of Walsh, made by Luebke between 1979 and 1981, is in the case file. A folder of transcripts and/or paraphrases of the taped interviews, plus a folder of notes on untaped interviews made in 1982, are in Box 4.
