Papers of the librarian of the Wisconsin State Library, 1906-1956; consisting of correspondence and historical papers pertaining to committee work in the American Association of Law Libraries (1944-56) and editing of the AALL's "Index to Periodicals"; biographical and reunion planning material concerning the University of Wisconsin Law School class of 1900; an autobiography dwelling on his professional activities; and genealogical materials. The genealogical materials include summaries compiled by the Media Research Center on the names and families of Glasier, Bosworth, and Strong; a narrative on the descendants of Sir Saire de Quincy, an English baron in 1200; and a photostat copy of an oversized genealogical chart submitted in application for membership in the Colonial Dames of America by Helen Thompson Seurry tracing her ancestry to de Quincy. Mrs. Seurry's grandmother was Susan Glasier King (1829-1906).
